KidSpot

A place for parents, built by a parent.

Community-powered

We plan things. We move around. We travel. And wherever we go, we're always on the lookout for kid-friendly places — playgrounds, cafés, museums, swimming spots, good beaches. It became my main activity on Instagram, and it's fun, but tiring.

The problem is you end up storing all that information in your head, hoping you'll remember it when you actually need it. And then one of those days hits — the kids are bouncing off the walls, the saturation is real, and you need to take them out. Now.

Where do I go? Where do I go? … No idea.

So I built KidSpot. One place to save, share, and find kid-friendly activities — events, classes, playgrounds, places — wherever you are. Upload a flyer and AI pulls out all the details automatically. No more lost WhatsApp messages, no more mental load.

This is a community project, built by a mom, for parents. It only works if we all share — that café you discovered, the art class your kid loved, the park with the amazing playground.

🛠️ Vibe coded. This entire app was built with AI assistance (Claude Code) while juggling kids, work, and life. I've learned a lot since I started — and I'm still learning.

If you have an idea and want to collaborate, don't hesitate to reach out. I'm running this solo, so every email lands directly in my inbox.
